The author's background as a researcher really comes through because it feels like all of the practical strategies and insights come from deep knowledge and all have evidence and stories to go along with it. I've read a lot of "personal development" type books, and this is the most in depth. It pulls from a lot of different areas and introduces many new concepts in order to create a new framework/strategy for taking on personal and team goals.
